I can’t get enough of you…

I’ve listened to this song about four hundred times already.
It makes my heart warmer and
when I think of our moments together, it makes me smile.
This song is Happiness

I’ve waited a hundred years
But I’d wait a million more for you
Nothing prepared me for the privilege of being yours
If I had only felt the warmth within your touch
If I had only seen how you smile when you blush
Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough
I would have known what I was living for
What I’ve been living for

Your love is my turning page
Only the sweetest words remain
Every kiss is a cursive line
Every touch is a redefining phrase
I surrender who I’ve been for who you are
Nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart
If I had only felt how it feels to be yours
I would have known what I’ve been living for all along
What I’ve been living for

We’re tethered to the story we must tell
When I saw you well I knew we’d tell it well
With the whisper we will tame the vicious scenes
Like a feather bringing kingdoms to their knees

[Sleeping at last, Turning Pages.]

This song is gorgeous. I had never heard it before I found it on here, so thank you.
I went to Milan once, but I was very little and we were only just passing through. We went to a huge cathedral there and just looked around for about three hours.
I know a bit of Italian. My Mum lived in Rome for three years when she was in her late 20's.
Some of the first sentences I ever learned were in Italian.
    – Un gelato per favore
    – La piu belle Mama del mondo
    – Non lo so
    – Andiamo

There are loads more but I can't remember them right now. I also did a qualification in Italian. In fact, Italian inspired me to learn Latin.
I would love it if you wrote some posts in Italian. It would be fun to translate them.

Thank you for following my blog, it really means the world!

Hiiiiii 🙂 I'm so happy you loved the song and got to know it thanks to me :)))
I will definitely write in Italian, then let me know if you understand!!!
The cathedral you saw was probably the Duomo, the one in the picture on my blog! You should definitely come back one day, I'm sure you'd find many things to see that you'd like!!
I tried to study Latin but I didn't like it so I dropped it…don't you find it very difficult???
